Well it was always a chance that this would happen once Abbey and Peter married. Abbey has announced she will be changing her surname to Crouch now that she is married. As for the site well we will be keeping the same domain name.

The 25-year-old beauty returned to work on ITV’s This Morning yesterday, following her wedding and honeymoon in Ibiza. Speaking on her fashion slot on the show, the blonde model told presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that she will be dropping her maiden name following the nuptials to the Tottenham and England forward.

Ruth asked: ‘You looked gorgeous in your wedding pictures and are you going to be Mrs Crouch or are you still staying as Abbey Clancy for work?’ To which the Scouse model replied: ‘No, I think I’d like to have the same name as my baby and we can all be a little Crouchy family! Or big Crouchys!’

It’s been two years since Peter popped the question to Abbey and now after the birth of their daughter the couple have finally set a date for their wedding. (And it’s my birthday!)

Abbey gave birth to their first child Sophia Ruby four weeks ago and the couple – who have been together for six years –are now planning to marry on June 30 in a lavish ceremony at Stapleford Park hotel in Leicestershire.

As we reported already Abbey gave birth to a baby girl and now we have more information. Abbey and Peter have named their daughter Sophia Ruby and she was 7lb 9oz. According to a hospital spokesman at London’s Portland Hospital ‘They are both doing fine’.

OK magazine reported the following:

A source said: ‘Abbey and Peter are over the moon, they are completely in love with her’. And after being there for the baby’s birth, Peter, 30, is looking forward to celebrating his new arrival with his Spurs team-mates. ‘The Spurs boys have been texting him congratulations – and promising to help him wet the baby’s head’. said a source.

Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch have welcomed their first child to the world, a little girl whose name they have not yet chosen. The child is reported to have weighed 7lb 9oz and a spokesman for the couple said: “They’re thrilled. Mother and baby are doing fine.”

Spurs striker Peter is believed to have been by Abbey’s side as she gave birth. The Daily Mail quoted a friend as saying: “Abbey and Peter are over the moon. They haven’t picked a name yet, but they are completely in love with her.”
